Some worrying tweets were made from the official Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record Twitter account yesterday. While we wait for more information, we wanted to give the Panzer Dragoon community a small update on the situation.
We saw a terrible announcement on the official Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record Twitter account yesterday, announcing that Haruto Watanabe, commonly known as Wildman, had passed away. The tweets in Japanese and English also mentioned the Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record project had been canceled as a result. The tweets have since been deleted.
We were of course devastated to read the tweets. Haruto Watanabe, a passionate fan of the Panzer Dragoon series, has been an active and valued member of the Panzer Dragoon Legacy Discord community since his VR game was announced. Following the deletion of the tweets, there have been three separate tweets, compiled in this Twitter thread by GSK, from Twitter members and friends of Wildman who went to look for him, and have confirmed that Wildman is okay. One of the tweets by Twitter user oukaichimon mentions that more information will be provided later on as the situation calms down. We will be sure to post an update once we learn more, but along with the rest of the Panzer Dragoon community we sincerely hope that Wildman is okay.
