Forever Entertainment Expects to Release At Least Four Remakes in 2021

Forever Entertainment plans to release at least four remake titles in 2021 and hints at Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake being among them.

In a DeepL translation from a StockWatch article about their new investment company “Forever Seed Fund”, Zbigniew Dębicki confirms Forever Entertainment’s plans for 2021 releases:

The current 2021 will be a unique year in the company’s development history, the release said.

In it, the company plans to release at least four remake titles (vs. one released in 2020), three proprietary games (vs. one released in 2020) and at least three significant ports, which should repeat the success of the best-selling ported games, it further reads.

There are practically ten months left in 2021 when we have planned intensive work on production and publishing. We are increasing the number of employees in all companies in order to maintain the pace of releasing more and more demanding titles both from the current portfolio and new ones that are in the negotiation process, the CEO added.

A further reply to a comment on Twitter suggests that Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake will be included. PanNindyk wrote:

Hello, @ForeverEntert maybe a hint?

To which Forever Entertainment replied:

Panzer Dragoon Zwei, The House of the Dead, The House of the Dead 2, Fear Effect, Magical Drop, Shadowgate - random order, we can’t write anything else ;-)

The second Panzer Dragoon remake was originally announced in 2018 alongside Panzer Dragoon: Remake. Although no release date for Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake was announced, we know it’s been in the planning stages since at least then.

It’s also worth noting that the domain for panzerdragoonzweiremake.com was registered in 2020 with European registrar OVH, currently containing Polish placeholder text.
