For this update, I’m pleased to announce the arrival of a new section on The Will of the Ancients. The Parallels section contains three articles covering various stories (each from different mediums) that share a number of likenesses with the Panzer Dragoon series. Geoff has written an article summing up Overworks’ Skies of Arcadia, and Lance has gone in depth talking about Moebius’ Arzach. As for myself, I’ve completed an article outlining some of the parallels found in Hayao Miyazaki’s excellent series of graphic novels, Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind.

Also for this update a new “flythrough” for Panzer Dragoon Zwei. Jeremy Prusak has written a detailed guide outlining exactly what you need to do to obtain a Winged Death rank in the game. To further illustrate the guide, I’ve scanned a number of stage maps from the official Zwei guidebook. Full size versions of these scans can be found in the Maps section.
